*Loosely based on a true story* Dalhart is one of my oldest songs that I have wanted to record for years. This was one of the first songs I wrote that helped showcase some of my southern rock roots aside from the red dirt/country sound. About 8 years ago, we were traveling back to Texas from Colorado. Needless to say, we were stopped by Dalhart Sheriffs…and the rest is history.
