Up until I was about 13 years old, my great grandfather “Shorty” lived in Woodward, Ok. Every summer I remember taking the 6 hour trip from Lancaster with my Sashi & Papa for the annual family reunion. From birth, I was introduced to the legends of the Grand Ole Opry & Country Radio (Marty Robbins, Patsy Cline, Hank Cochran, Roger Miller among others). This set my trajectory to country music. Bourbon Broadway is an anthem for everybody like me trying to create a dream from adolescent passion.
