Recording an album has always been my dream. Not for money, nor for fame; but to repay the countless artists before me who inspire, enlighten, elate or depress. I try to write music that is reflective of life and my personal problems.

“Red & Blue” is the perfect amalgamation of tragedy, pain, fun and adrenaline.The title itself melds the ups and downs in life with color that’s easy to relate to. Naturally, red and blue make purple – the crux of the message. There are a few songs that involve those colors i.e. “Purple Shades of Heaven”, “Dalhart”, & “Foggy Headed Morning.”

However, the main reason I decided to release this album without a title track was a promise I made to Felicia (whom I wrote Purple Shades of Heaven) about. Nobody supported me more than her, and this is part of the closure I and family needed to start healing. Music does heal. And that’s why I do it.
